Isn’t it good to have mysteries all around us that makes you stay awake for the whole night figuring the “Hows” and “Whys”? Yes, it’s part of human existence to figure out what are “this” or “that” which they don’t understand. I’m talking about mystery and mind boggling stuff since it’s part of Always10’s goal to give entertainment to readers whether it’s heart pumping or relaxing infos.

1. September 11, 2001

It is impossible to know for sure if Nostradamus foresaw the tragedy on September 11, 2001, but his prediction sure sounds like an apt description. Still, this prediction calls for a lot of speculation.

2. World War II & Hitler

hitler-300x300

Hitler was a seductively manipulative dictator that came from poverty and worked to expand his “empire” ever east. However, it is likely this connection was made due to Nostradamus’s use of the Latin word “Hister” in the original text to describe the Danube, not Hitler.

3. Atomic Bomb

If the proof is in the details, Nostradamus was lacking quite a bit on this one. True this verse very aptly describes the atomic bombings, but it could also describe any other war where men, women, and children died horribly.

4. Louis Pasteur

While many believe Nostradamus was predicting the scientist, Louis Pasteur, who engineered spoil-resistant milk and the vaccine for rabies, there could be a more general prediction. Louis’s surname is French for a pastoral vocation and he could simply be talking about a pastor or the church.

5. JFK & RFK Assassinations

JFKRFK-300x300

This prediction can be interpreted to describe the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy, but there are too many details. What was going on at Reims, London, and Tuscany?

6. Katrina

katrina-300x300

This might be a bit of a stretch. While “troubled by sudden change” and “shaking of land and sea” seem to describe the events of Katrina well, this prediction names too many French cities to believe it is truly referring to New Orleans.

7. Princess Diana’s Death

There are some things that Nostradamus followers LOVE about this prophecy. However, their biggest point of proof is that it names Diana specifically. Too bad Diana could also refers to a Greek goddess…

8. London Fire

london-300x300

The Great London Fire of 1666 destroyed all of medieval London, “the ancient lady,” inside the old Roman walls. Also, only six people were recorded as dead, and the fire started in a baker’s shop and burned for three days straight (Burnt through lighting of twenty threes the six.)

9. French Revolution

Revolt of the peasants, imprisoned monarchy, beheadings…? This prediction seems to have it all! Of course, it could be cheating. Nostradamus probably saw the warning signs in French society already in the 16th-century.

Whether you truly believe Nostradamus accurately predicted all of these events or not you have to admit there are some creepy similarities and some suspicious generalities that should be examined and considered first.

 10. The End of the Word

worldend-300x300

This prediction seems to be popular – the Bible, the Mayans, most of Facebook throughout 2012. Nostradamus’s prediction is one of the most widely quoted, and accepted, predictions of the world ending. But no specific date was given, and Nostradamus wrote his predictions expire in 3797 so he’s running out of time (not really).

Whether you truly believe Nostradamus accurately predicted all of these events or not you have to admit there are some creepy similarities and some suspicious generalities that should be examined and considered first.
